Derby Receives Superior Food Safety Rating

Derby Supply Chain Solutions’ Cleveland, TN distribution center recently received the highest honor of achievement for excellent practices in food safety. The Superior Recognition of High Achievement in food safety was awarded to Derby as a result of a rigorous audit from AIB International. Only 25 percent of food handling facilities in the country scored by AIB in 2011 achieved the Superior rating Derby received.

AIBI is a risk management and auditing entity, committed to protecting the food safety in the supply chain. The Cleveland, TN facility is the second to receive the Superior recognition from AIBI, following the Allentown, PA distribution center. There are three levels of recognition from AIB International, Recognition of High Achievement-Superior, Recognition of Achievement, and Recognition of Participation.
