Founded in 1977 in Louisville, KY, we started out as Derby Packaging. We provided fabrication and assembly services to a major appliance manufacturer. Since then, we have grown to become a regional 3PL provider operating in the eastern US, with facilities in eight different states. In 2010 we rebranded to better reflect our growth and added services. Operating as Derby Supply Chain Solutions, we now provide our customers value added services such as warehousing and distribution, packaging, assembly, and fulfillment.
Acquired by Hyde Park Holdings in 2000, we have consistently experienced year-over-year revenue growth. We achieved this through focusing on three business strategies. These strategies were the organic development of long-term customer relationships, the attraction of new customers to Derby, and strategic acquisitions.
We made key acquisitions which strengthened our markets and the services we offered. The first was our acquisition of Resource Group, Inc. in 2005, followed by the purchase of NEPW Logistics a sister company in 2014, Network Imaging Solutions (NIS) a subsidiary in 2015 and Pluto Corporation a sister company in 2017.
With an established presence in Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and Georgia, coupled with our sister company locations, we now have over 2 million square feet under roof. Our diverse services allow us to serve an equally diverse customer base.
