Derby’s Evolution
Founded in 1977 in Louisville, KY, we started as Derby Packaging, offering fabrication and assembly services to a local major appliance manufacturer. Since then, Derby has evolved into a leading regional 3PL provider, with facilities across the eastern and midwestern United States. Our network now spans nine states and includes more than 2.3 million square feet of space under the Derby name, highlighting our significant growth and increased capabilities.
In 2010, we embraced a new identity as Derby Supply Chain Solutions to better align with our growth and diversified services. Today, we offer an extensive range of value-added 3PL solutions, including warehousing and distribution, packaging, assembly, e-commerce fulfillment, and transportation.
A Legacy of Growth with Hyde Park Holdings
Since our acquisition by Hyde Park Holdings in 2000, we have experienced consistent, year-over-year revenue growth. Our success is driven by three core strategies: cultivating long-term customer relationships, attracting new clients, and pursuing strategic acquisitions.
Our growth has been bolstered by key acquisitions, including Resource Group, Inc. in 2005, NEPW Logistics in 2014, Network Imaging Solutions (NIS) in 2015, Pluto Corporation in 2017, Versant Transportation in 2019, and RRP in 2022. These strategic moves have not only strengthened our market presence but also significantly expanded our service offerings. Collectively, the entire holdings network spans over 4 million square feet of space across more than 25 facilities. This extensive network supports a robust array of supply chain and 3PL solutions, ensuring we can meet a wide range of client needs with unmatched efficiency and capabilities.
