Diana Herold, CPA, President & CEO

Diana has been with Derby for over twenty years. She has over twenty-five years professional experience in finance and operations. Prior to accepting the role of President and CEO of Derby, she held the positions of VP of Finance and Chief Operating Officer. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting from the University of Louisville and is a member of the Kentucky Society of CPA’s. She has been an active member of South Oldham Rotary for six years, Board Member for three and enjoyed her time as a former Board Member of YMCA Safe Place Services in Louisville, KY. Diana enjoys quality time with her family, spin classes and is, of course, an avid UofL fan.

Jacob Kleehamer, Finance Director

Jacob joined the Derby in 2004 and has over 15 years of finance experience. He was instrumental in developing the current quote tool utilized to price all new business opportunities. Jacob was promoted to the leadership team as Director of Finance in 2011. He is responsible for reporting monthly financial performance to the board of directors, overseeing completion of the annual budgets, leading customer contracts negotiations, reporting bank covenants, pricing of new business opportunities, and overseeing the financial integration of acquisitions. As director of finance, Jacob works closely with all of Derby’s plant managers on cost savings projects, capital projects, and ensures that monthly financial performance goals are met. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in finance from Indiana University and MBA from Indiana University. Jacob enjoys spending time with his family and the outdoors with activities such as camping, biking, hiking, fishing, and hunting.

Greg Stamp, Director of IT

As the Director of Information Technology, Greg is responsible for managing the Derby IT department which includes project managers, programmers, and system administration.  His 30 years of technology experience is key to Derby’s ability to provide customized information solutions to meet the requirements of our customers.  Greg holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology.

Bill Marks, Director of Sales

Bill joined Derby in 2014 as Sales Manager, bringing over 30 years of industrial sales experience to the team. In 2015, Bill joined the leadership team as the Director of Sales. He manages key accounts and business development for the Louisville facility, and leads and supports the Derby sales force. Bill has lead the effort to include e-commerce fulfillment as a Derby service offering. Bill also supports the Derby marketing efforts that include developing marketing tools to promote the company’s core competencies. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Bill is a big supporter of the UofL Cardinals sports teams and enjoys cycling, swimming, and running.

Renee Hunt, PHR, Vice President of HR

Renee has been with Derby for twenty years. She has over 25 years of human resources experience in manufacturing environments. Renee attended Eastern Kentucky University, is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Renee enjoys family time, travel and UofL sports.

Ryan McDermott, Director of Operations

In 2012, Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in Computer Information Systems from the University of Louisville.  As a Helpdesk Intern, Ryan first joined the Derby team in 2012 and started from the beginning to understand every aspect of the Derby business.  Ryan kept applying his experience to increase his understanding of Derby’s fundamental WMS and ERP systems, eventually rising to the position of internal expert.  Ryan has played a key role in systems’ integrations for onboarding new customers and enhancing internal processes.

In 2021, he became a member of the executive team as the Director of Project Management, where he helped bridge the gap between Operations, Information Technology and Project Management.   Ryan received a promotion to Director of Operations in 2023.  By merging his experience in project management, business administration, and the Derby processes across the company, Ryan truly demonstrates his expertise in the 3PL industry.

Ryan enjoys hanging out with family and friends in his free time, especially during the summertime at the lake and during UofL football season.
