Jacob Kleehamer

Since joining Derby in 2004, Jacob has played a crucial role in shaping the company’s financial strategies and processes. With over 15 years of experience in finance, he was instrumental in developing Derby’s current pricing tool, used to evaluate all new business opportunities. 

Promoted to the leadership team as Director of Finance in 2011, Jacob is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial performance, including monthly reporting to the board of directors, managing annual budgets, negotiating customer contracts, and ensuring compliance with bank covenants. He also leads the financial integration of acquisitions and collaborates closely with plant managers on cost-saving and capital projects to meet financial performance goals. 

Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and an MBA from Indiana University. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in outdoor activities such as camping, biking, hiking, fishing, and hunting.
