Derby Contingent Attends Cleveland, TN Industrial Appreciation Luncheon

On June 6th 2012, Derby Supply Chain Solutions Director of Sales and Marketing – Bill O’Bryan, Sales Manager  – Fred Koeck, and Customer Liaison – Maggie Rose; attended the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce’s Industry Appreciation luncheon at the Museum Center at 5ive Points.  The event showcased eight of the area’s leading manufacturing and industrial organizations. The event started with a networking showcase for the over 115 attendees from the local community. “The showcase provided Derby Supply Chain Solutions with a valuable method to connect and progress relationships with several key organizations in the area as well as inform many others of our capabilities” said Fred Koeck – Derby Sales Manager.

The networking showcase was followed by a wonderful buffet lunch provided through a local caterer.  During the meal Key Note Speaker – Ray Hruby – General Manager of Technical Services at TVA’s Watts Bar Unit spoke.  Mr. Hruby spoke about the actions and implementations they had made at their facilities to assure safety, quality, and control costs. He also expanded on how each of these implementations will have a reach that has a direct impact on industries in the surrounding areas of his facilities.  Derby Supply Chain Solutions left the event with a feeling that The Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce’s support and recognition of local industry is well recognized and greatly appreciated by its members  and we look forward to attending more events like this sponsored by the chamber.
