A Message from Diana Herold, President

We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge this challenging time for our country. The past days and weeks have, once again, put a spotlight on the inequality and injustice within our society and the progress needed for change.

Racism has no place in society, and yet it continues to exist just the same. We are heartbroken by the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless others, and also by the division we are seeing around our country – So at this moment it is critical to step back, face the hard subjects and try to reflect.

Both personally and professionally we have a responsibility to take a stand and be a force of positive change. We are all positioned to serve as allies and advocates, to have open and constructive conversations and work together to ensure our communities and workplaces represent diverse people, cultures and perspectives. We have a duty to support our community in any way we can, and know that now, more than ever, it is time for us to come together and work as one to support one another to eliminate racism and inequality.

Together we are stronger – Together we can make a change.
