Derby’s Cleveland, TN facility Earns Another Perfect Pest Control Score

Derby Supply Chain Solutions was recently honored with a 2013 Gold Medal from Orkin, The IPM Institute of North America and NSF International for a perfect score at its Cleveland, Tennessee facility in a recent third-party audit.

“Earning a perfect pest control score on your audit is no small feat,” said Orkin Director of Quality Systems Zia Siddiqi, Ph.D. “Forming a strong partnership with your pest management provider is the first step. But earning a high score means going above and beyond in your efforts even when your pest management professional is not present.”

Derby adopted the IPM approach to pest control and prevention because of the non-chemical nature of the program. Derby serves several markets and industries, including food and confections. The Cleveland, Tennessee facility is FDA-certified and features 25,000 square feet of climate controlled space.
