Derby’s Cleveland Facility Achieves Company Safety Record

Derby Supply Chain Solution’s Cleveland, TN location is celebrating a safety milestone. They have achieved 4,000 days, (11 years), without a lost time accident. A lost time accident is defined as an accident that causes the absence of an employee from work for X number of days, and is one of the main safety performance indicators in industry. This milestone was celebrated on Tuesday 2/4/2013 with a visit from Diana Herold, President of Derby Supply Chain Solutions, and Renee Hunt, Vice President of Human Resources. Employees enjoyed a luncheon, a cake commemorating the accomplishment and each received a special Derby Supply Chain Solutions jacket. The Cleveland Plant Manager, Shari Kepsel, puts tremendous emphasis on safety and every employee works hard to ensure a safe work environment. The entire Cleveland team is proud to achieve and maintain this outstanding record!!! This accomplishment is a testament to Derby’s Corporate Value of believing the measure of our success will be a direct reflection of our employees’ collective efforts.
