At Derby Industries we leverage information and technology to provide solutions that fill our partner's needs.

Our Customer Care and Supplier Net WEB applications provide both our customers and vendors web-based access to valuable and timely information. Customer care provides inventory by item and lot updated daily with recent transaction detail, item requirements, and item inventory targets. Reports can be viewed on-line or downloaded in Excel or Acrobat formats. Derby inventory processes are also documented on the site for customer's benefit. Derby Industries is committed to providing our customers the "Total Solution".

Supplier Net offers a full month of item and lot activity detail that is updated daily and available on the Derby Website for use at our supplier's convenience. Our suppliers use all this information to effectively manage inventory.

These services are fed from Derby's Enterprise Systems which utilize RF scanning technology in our warehousing and manufacturing processes. All pallets received at Derby Supplier Distribution Centers are bar coded, tracked by lot, and rotated by a FIFO inventory discipline which is enforced by our systems. All Derby Industries locations are connected via high speed T1 to our centralized office so that, regardless of location, we provide the same high level of service.

Derby Industries has a full time professional IT staff dedicated to delivering Information Technology that adds value to the full supply chain.
