Derby Industries, LLC in Louisville, KY was started in 1977 as a metal fabricator, sub-assembler, and kit provider to General Electric. Over the years, Derby has expanded its knowledge and operations to include retail pick/pack, warehousing and distribution, and Foreign Trade Zone administration. Allentown, Pennsylvania

Acquired by Derby Industries in 2005, the Allentown Division (formerly The Resource Group) was founded in 1991 as a contract packaging company. Quickly growing in response to customer demand, the division developed and refined its capabilities within the packaging and supply services. Today, Derby Industries, LLC provides all facets of contract packaging, warehousing,  and global procurement for a number of high profile customers / industries. Cleveland, Tennessee

Derby Industries opened the Tennessee facility in October of 2000 with a small assembly operation supporting the Cleveland, TN Maytag Cooking Division. The ever-expanding value added services and capabilities offered to major appliance customers required a move to a larger facility. In 2003, Derby moved and acquired 50,000 square feet of space. Over the past three years, with the addition of new customers and more service requirements, Derby expanded a second time into a 100,000 square foot facility. Offering assembly, contract packaging, climate controlled storage, and a major supplier distribution center, we are already constructing a new addition and look forward to continued growth and success for all of our customers. Galesburg, Illinois

Derby Industries-Galesburg opened its first Galesburg facility in 1984 to support the Maytag Refrigeration Products assembly plant. The first building was a small facility on the outskirts of town that was 25,000 square feet and employed 11 people. Eventually, the new 200,000 square foot plant was constructed to keep up with the growth and commitment that Maytag placed with Derby as a Preferred Supplier. When Maytag closed their facility and moved the operation to Mexico, Derby was supplying 15 to 20 truckloads of parts and assemblies to the Maytag plant per day on a JIT and 2-hour time bucket schedule. There were approximately 250 people working in Galesburg to support this production. Our current customers are easily recognizable by their well-known logos.
