History For over a quarter century, Derby Industries has been listening, learning and providing the services required for businesses to compete and bring value to the markets they serve. Starting in 1977, Derby Industries provided foam and rubber fabrication services to the appliance industry. By 1982, Derby was producing sub-assemblies for that same industry, and quickly was "on the Move" to develop other service capabilities to support the needs of customers.
